Patricia A. McKillip - The Riddle-Master's Game (1976 - 1979)

My review of Patricia A. McKillip's wonderful The Riddle-Master's Game has gone up at Fantasy Faction today. The trilogy, perhaps McKillip's best-loved work, is on a par with the excellent 'The Forgotten Beasts Of Eld', however while they share some thematic similarities, in particular the fascination with riddles, The Riddle-Master's Game is a work of great subtlety and beauty with its own distinct flavour.
